Why a TQ? I would whole heartily recommend a V8 Quattro. Contrary to
popular belief, they are not money pits, and in my personal experience is
the cheapest type 44 Audi to keep on the road (time and $$ wise, the most
expensive time wise being the '84 5KS in my stable.) Especially so if
you do your own work and have the resources of this and the V8Q list at
your disposal. The 560SEC is a fine car, but as with practically all
Mercyless Benz (except 4matic) should be kept in the garage when the
going gets slippery. Personally, I find the SEC front end downright
fugly compared to the SEL's, but that's just my opinion, period, I've
only been accused of having impeccable taste on rare occasions, so please
take no offense.
