Finally Getting another TQ I Hope

The UrS4 was built from '92 to '94. In '95 the designation changed to S6 and
the S6 was built until '97. '96 S6s were imported into the US as '95.5
models. In '95 the S6 differed from the S4 in trim - body colour side
mouldings, chrome rings around the gauges, voltmeter instead of oil pressure
gauge - "go-fast" goodies like that. In '96, the mechanical rear diff lock
was replaced with the electronic EDL ( fancy name for ABS brake activation
to slow spinning wheels), the remote locking was changed from IR to RF, the
stereo system was changed. The nuts and bolts of the S4 and S6 are basically
identical, most of the changes were in the visual and creature comfort
areas - except for that pesky EDL, I still prefer a mechanical diff lock.
There is more complete info on the model year changes at www.urs4.com
The most completely equipped and sportiest (from the factory) UrS car is
(IMHO) the '92 UrS4. Unfortunately, it also has the most transmission
failures. C'est la vie!
