Do some other VW/Audi door handles fit the 86 4kq series?

Although they are slightly different you could use the door handle from
pretty much any VW / Audi. My experience was with an 82 Golf, 87 coupe and
~85 80. They were all the same but the leaver that the handle rocked. This
can can be removed by tapping out the pin that pivoit's it and change it for
the on that fit's your car. Hope this helps.

p.s. why whould I want to do that ? I wanted a door handle with no lock in
it (anti-theft thing)  for my coupe drivers door (had remote opening)
