overheated 4kq, new moter needed? New to list :-)

Hey tom, 
I have an 86 4kcsq that once had a similar problem -- it was 
severely overheated at 85k miles and the head was VERY 
warped... This is why the previous driver had it towed into town and 
got a new car.  Talk about no love!  A local Audi enthusiast 
snatched it up from her, didn't mess with the block at all, just put a 
rebuilt head on it, and sold it to me one year ago almost to the 
day.  Since then I've had nearly 30k smooth-running trouble-free 
miles (unless you consider crashing it and having my insurance 
company declare it totalled "trouble")  teehee.  
And yes, it still runs and drives very well..
