I disagree. Built in amps can work great for many people, remember Andrew
expressed he is not out to win any riceboy awards with his stereo. Try it to
start, if you don't like it add more watts later.

Make sure the hole is covered and sealed. The speakers you fit need to be
sealed too, then the boot/trunk is your speaker cabinet and good bass will
be your reward. Take a look at good home speakers, solid and fully enclosed.
Huw can tell you way more about this than me !!!!! Watch your connections +
to +, - to -. Nothing destroys sound more than out of phase speakers.

Not seen this in any speaker I looked at. Coaxials are a compromise between
space, ease of fitment etc. Again from the idea I get as to what Andrew is
looking for these will be a good choice IMO. Spend some time in the store at
the stereo rack switching through the various speakers that will fit and
hear what you like and see what fits the budget.
