I once dated a girl who had this blurry but familiar picture in her album. 
I asked her what it was, she told me it was her car's odometer turning back 
to 'all zeroes'. As it was a five-figure odo, the car had either done 100k 
km or (likely, judging by its age and condition) 200k.

So this is not necessarily a guy thing, apparently.
