that's great to hear.

I don't think they'd make good DRL's.  Very dim.  Just enough to see
where the lens is - in the dark.  I think DRL's actually tend to be
*brighter* than low beams, after all they have to compete with daylight
to be seen... but I may be wrong!

I would just go nuts, chop out the old harness somewhere behind the left
headlight and just use the wires you need to run relays for whatever you
want to do.  I slowly did this with the coupe - first I could "retreat"
to stock, then I removed more and more until onlyt he wiring I needed
was there.  With the 90Q I just went all the way right off the bat.
