Duncan,
The whole point of the joint is to be able to swivel! If you jammed the
balls in and it didn't swivel that means that IT IS not possible to do it!

What Erik is referring to is (my understanding of course!)  that the joint
swivels and appears OK, but IS NOT!

Anybody can force anything! And my comment was not referring to the
"creativity" in the ability to do that! Big difference!

Nope, I definitely succeeded in doing it the WRONG way first time out...
Fairly obvious mistake to spot though, as the joint becomes almost solid,
and doesn't twist easily as it should...
