THey'd probably still be running in the middle of the pack. The S4's are
comparatively heavy and underpowered compared to Vette's and Vipers, and
their aerodynamics (it's a comparatively tall car) make it harder to go
through the wind. So, they are at a notable competitive disadvantage, one
where Quattro can't make up all of the differences. If the courses were
smaller/tighter, things would be different.  Just my $0.02.
