Contemplating new exhaust for the 5ktq

Engines with different numbers of cylinders produce different acoustical 
tones.  Also the turbo itself goes a long way toward quieting exhaust pulse 
noises.  For those 2 reasons I doubt that your car will sound like a ricer or 
wake up the neighbors.  Less restrictive systems = more flow but sometimes 
the lack of sound absorption material that will not only cause additional 
exhaust noise but also allow body panels to resonate at different frequencies 
(or at least the body & chassis acoustics will not absorb the sound at those 
frequencies). Before I spent any money, I would talk to others who have been 
down this road and if possible take a ride their car so you can judge for 
yourself.
