Hydraulic hose woes--again

Had the same thing happen to me when the shop that
rebuilt the hose put the ends on at the wrong angle.

I had to twist the hose to bolt it up and when I
turned the car on for the first time the hose ripped
just below the fitting by the pump.

Returned to the rebuilder and he gave me super-extra
heavy duty hose but the ends were still not angled
properly. It's been nearly a year now and the hose is
still holding. My recomendation is to buy a new hose
after all the aggravation and re-installs. Here's my
cost breakdown:

Hose rebuild cost $85 (new is something like $150)
others have reported rebuild costs in the $20-$30
range.
Hose guy rebuilt the hose 3 times for me
1: hose was too short
2: hose burst
3: super extra heavy duty hose

A suggestion for folks that still want to rebuild
their hoses: make sure to tell the hose people how
much pressure the hose will see because it will affect
the type of fitting and hose they use.

I can't remember the number, but it's like 3000 psi.
Somebody correct me.
