Confused still about JC Whitney H4 lighs on the aerodynamic lights

Thanks for the link Steve, but now I am confused.  How does even the 6 by 8 inch light fit into the newer 5kstq series lighting system?  I have a 86 4kq but that too has the areodynamic lights. Are those that use the JC Whitney alternative putting in older style headlight buckets and smaller sealed beams?
