Removing Trim

Richard,

I've never actually had the trim off, but there's usually a way around it.
For instance, it is simple to take off/out the switches above the radio for
access behind them. Also, you can pull the radio out fairly easily. slide
some small wire into the four holes on the right and left side of the radio,
and pull it out. The idea is that the wire will push down pins holding the
radio in place.

Good luck, hopefully this will let you get behind it without having to go to
the trouble of removing it.
