Even further off-topic, the most recent _european car_ (April issue?) has 
an article/press release about a Vancouver shop that has installed a 
twin-turbo kit for VR6 along with 4Motion drivetrain (thanks to extensive 
use of ETKA, mentioned by name) into a NeuBeetle and Golf4. 426hp reported 
for the 12v VR6, 440hp for the 24v, IIRC. Turbo kit from IPA(?) somewhere 
on the continent, article at home. Hmm, don't recall mention of the total 
price...if you have to ask...

The Golf was very discreet (nice!), Beetle had a big wing. Bigger wheels 
and brakes on both.

Also a claim that VW had tested the drivetrain (transverse w/Haldex) to 
750hp.
