reimplementation would mean running the two control wires to the front
of the car in order to insert the controller in the low beam wires, and
I am sick of running wires!  Also, I didn't think of it before doing the
job (luckily!)  I just opted to jump the "L" terminals (only one needed
since thats the one that runs my low relay).  I think i will be able to
tell if one of these low beams is out.

BTW, these lights are *incredible*.  A completely smooth, hot-spot free
swath of light on both low and high... this should have been a recall
item for these cars!
