A6 wipers

Here's a bit of a doh. Maybe someone can clue me in.

I bought winter wiper blades for my A6 and found that the standard mounts
don't work on the front. The mounting hook on the front arms are larger than
standard (why does this not surprise me!), and the winter blades wouldn't
mount properly.

Additionally, the right side arm seems to be curved to match the windshield.

The rear blade mounted just fine.

What's up with this...do I need to replace just the inserts or get Audi
specific blades from the dealer ($$$)?
