Type 44 radiator repair

There have been many reports of this being a basically temporary fix, few 
reports of it being a long-lived one.  If you replace the hose with a 
longer one so there's NO chance of stress on the repair, it may hold up 
better.  I'd guess the heat cycling is what does such efforts in in the end.
