I wonder how the few-but-fast ITB Coupe GT drivers live with stock
calipers/rotors? I know one pretty well, and the two things he
*loves* about the car are simple:

1. Power
2. Brakes

It has more power than most ITB cars, and apparently, the brakes
are pretty good, too.

Beats me, never driven a CGT on a track - but I've driven a few other
cars, and while special care is needed to make stock brakes work in
a race environment, they can work just fine.

Maybe try Carbotech, Hawk or Performance Friction - I've used all
three on various VWs - admittedly lighter than a CGT, but when
other people were complaining about fade in similar power/weight
cars(time trials), we were having no problems. Solid rotors, even.

If the IT guys can do it, so can you:).
