Of interest only to me:  Perusing ebay, '83 quattro up for bid ("only 200 in 
the US!"). Anyway, it's from my home town (!) and is the same int.&ext. 
color, year as the one from my dad's old dealership! (then the only one in 
the whole upper midwest for quite a few months) Borum-Dyer VW/Audi (nee 
Plombon VW).  I wonder...
