Ya. Couple of weeks ago my wife's webserver got hacked. They deleted some
stuff and sent the admin (me) an email letting me know. They also loaded a
couple hundred megabytes of warez onto the server. Coulda been avoided, we
had a sys account with little protection available for the taking. Oops.

And by the way, my home gateway has seen a *lot* of traffic. BlackIce has
done a pretty good job keeping everybody out. If you're on a highspeed
connection, either DSL or cable, you ought to get a copy of BlackIce
installed. You'd be surprised at how often your system gets probed for
holes.
