Sure looks like a vin, although not the whole thing.  The "W" means 1998
and the part number break before change is at unit 7,799.  Everything
after (and including) unit 7,800 has whatever differentiated parts are
listed.  Although there is OFTEN crossover of parts, regardless of what
the vin breakdown is supposed to be.  BTDT often.
