I went to WalMart and bought the appropriate sized (42?) Champion
Battery. $39, and it's held up quite well, including one complete
discharge when my altenator finally quit and I couldn't see the warning
light due to the low sun angle. According to a recent Consumer's Report
article, most of the batteries performed reasonably about the same, so
the factors that they said matters is manufacture date, and price.
