There was a 5 sp option for the '00 A6 2.8Q. I know because my dealer had
2-3 in November they were trying to sell at quite a big savings (~$36k vs
$41k sticker). I guess they were not a big seller (everyone who wanted a
stick went for the 2.7T model).
