Weird dash lites

This is normal for an old 5k. I had some parts of the dash very bright, 
others very dim. I just took out the instrument panel [easier than it 
sounds] and replaced all the bulbs in the back. Some old ones looked burned 
and those were the dim ones.  The bulbs are the black-base twist type - 
1.2W I think. There's one white-base bulb for the boost gauge display I 
think. You can get them for 50 cents or something at the dealer or lots of 
Audi parts wholesalers like TPC. good luck.
