Audi 80/90 Steering column switches

Same thing with the 100 vs A6, both on the C4 chassis. They are totally
identical, but the wiring positions on the backside has been rearranged. Also
the mounting diameter was reduced by a few mm's. Why? I learnt this when trying
to fit my former Audi (92 100) with an adjustable steering coloumn from a 96
A6.
