Help?? Its dark and cold and the windows stuck!!

You didn't say what year/model of car, but this could just be a switch problem.
Try swapping switches with those for the other windows, on both the console
and the door and see if it makes any difference.  Both switches has to make
goo contact in order for the window to work.
