With regard to your comments on the M Roadster, you're wrong.
The M Roadster is not badge engineered- it has the US spec.
M3 engine in it, different suspension tuning, seats, steering
wheel, wheels and slight differences in the body.

I have yet to drive the S2k, but I'm hearing stuff about engine
failure which is cause for concern and it's a torqueless wonder,
kind of like a motorcycle engine in a car.

I agree w/ the fit and finish comments, though- VAG is one of
the best now. I haven't seen how they hold up, but Lexus has
always impressed me as well, in terms of build quality.

You like the new MBZs? I hate all of the plasticky bits, esp. that
cheap-looking light gray and beige plastic. I prefer the old,
somber black interiors and less reflection on the dash.
