fuel pump problem

Hy guys !

Did 1500 km of motorway last week end... Had a small problem:
above 150 km/h my car 'hesitates' when pressing hard the accelerator
i immediately thought it was a 'fuel' problem as i own an original and noisy fuel pump ('89 90 10v  and  145 000 km) 
2 hours later, as i ended my trip, my pump was doing a new very very loud noise (different from the usual buzzy one)
since this moment; my car works find and the pump noise is still normaly buzzy

so:
- does it means my fuel pump will soon die ?
- may it be a fuel filter problem as i recently went (for the first time) to the last drop of my fuel tank (may be dirty ?)
