I agree.  problem is the relatively depressed book value (which is why I
added in the potential of subjective value).  An $8000 MBZ needing a
$2000 repair is still a $6000 car.  a $2500 type $$ needing a $2000
repair, with a few broken door handles and a bad window switch or two is
worth... not much *on paper*.

Even though comparatively they may be "equal" cars!

This is called "60 Minutes Math", btw.
