rear brake suggestions?

Well, my trusty '89 200 Quattro needs new rear brakes. Pads, rotors,
calipers, the whole deal. I'm probably going to get the parts from
Blaufergnugen, but as of yet, I haven't decided which way to go. So,
I'm looking for thoughts from my fellow listers. There is only one
choice for calipers, as I need the bracket. Pads, however, I could
use stock, or either of the two semi-metallic that Blau offers. As
for rotors, there is stock, and grooved. Would it be a problem
upgrading the rear brakes to the better semi-metallic pads and
grooved rotors if I'm not doing the fronts right now (they are still
50% or better)? I'm a little concerned with throwing off the brake
bias. When the fronts go, I plan on using the good stuff up there.
There's no such thing as too much brakes. All comments are welcome
and appreciated.
