When you say late in the game, you are refering to the sequence
of upgrades, right? As in chip/WG spring, exhaust, intake filter,
porting/polishing/extrudehoning, and such?
The other meaning you may have meant is when the power comes
on in the rpm band "game".

Darn. I am interested in low end power. I already have the n/a
cam. I still wonder if there are any stock or aftermarket cams that
are biased towards low rpm power. Don't get me wrong, I want
high end power too. I just feel like that will be handled by the turbo
at some point.
I guess I could get an adjustable cam gear, and (let me see if I get
this right), retard it to shift the powerband lower. (is that the right
direction?) Am I being too simplistic about their application?

What's this I hear about people putting a spark plug in the exhaust,
to light off unburnt fuel? What triggers the spark? What does it
run off of?
I guess the EM heat in itself is enough to light off a rich mixture,
since a souped up Corrado G60 will spit flames upon shifting. This
is without a spark plug in the exhaust, and even without a hot turbo.
Did I mention that I'm curious about putting nitrous on my 4kstq
project? I've got a partial setup. Is anyone running NOS on this
list?
Thanks,
Ken
