Very good observation!  That is why my first Audi was
selling for $200.  And I drove it away.  85 5kt with
100+k miles and 0 services.  Car looked beautiful in
the driveway, all clean and waxed.  Dealer said it
would cost $3k + to correct it.  They already spent
over 2.5k with a local mech. who apparently fixed
nothing.  It had NO trade it value to them.  They
bought a new Mitsu micro hatch instead.  Absolutely
stripped... for $11.5k.  See what owning an Audi will
make you do.
