What a difference locale can make. Here in mountain land, I was surprised to
note that many cars are manuals. It's not unusual at all. I did drive a Tip
for a variety of reasons, but when I was searching out various A6s here,
most of them had manuals (I considered both 2.8s and 2.7s, and bought the
2.7 when it was revealed that I could get a deal not quite as good as yours,
but nearly).
