Tranmission swap in a 87.5 CGT

Oops, my bad, I thought you were going from stick to stick, not auto to 
stick...  Yeah, you'll need a flywheel & clutch.  Right now you have a 
torque converter & starter ring in there instead...

There was some ramblings a month or two ago that the CGT floorpans were 
different between the two cars (auto and manual) and may pose problems in 
the swap.  Did anyone look further into this?

It'd be easiest to just use the driveshafts from the '85 cause they are 
different lengths between the auto and manual, not to mention there may be 
differences in the inner CV joint diameter as well.

Sorry about the misunderstanding, I'll read the message more closely next 
time before replying...
