You can try calling the local constabulary to "slim-jim" your door. At
least it will be unlocked, and you can do the required "open and fiddle
around" to see if it's fixable...Just be warned...Some of the police can be
pretty ham-fisted when opening the lock.

This morning I had a feeling that things were going too well...
Tonight on my way home from work some no-brain changed lanes without warning
as I was attempting to pass. After travelling along some of the central
divider (probably only 10-20 yards but seemed like 100s) I regained the
road, there appears to be no damage to the car (lucky, 'cos its not mine).
Later I took the Ur-q out for some more shakedown and debugging to find that
now the ABS is really acting up. With the ABS off braking appears to be ok
although I think that the pedal travel is slightly more than it should be.
With the ABS on and the car moving, there is a continuous quiet grinding or
chugging noise that seems to be coming from the actuator unit. Braking is ok
most times but every so often there is an awful grinding or chattering noise
(possibly from the front calipers) and the pedal practically hits the floor.
I suspect that there may be air in the system but has anybody any ideas?
To cap everything, I put the car in the garage, locked the drivers door and
although the central locking cycled and the passenger door locked the lock
pins didn't seem to drop fully and now it won't unlock from either door.
What the h*ll can I do?
Any suggestions (even ones that tell me to stop moaning)?
Regards,
Jim Haseltine
