It would HAVE to be in New Hampshire, wouldn't it? lol Not that I could
*really* afford it anyway...

Now that I have the car "bought", and don't have to worry about
any of you vultures swooping in and taking it from me, I can
say what I found that has me so psyched.

BTW, those of you outside the US will probably say "so what?",
you get these all the time, but we don't!

In fact, by actual count, 8 out of 10 Audi dealers I spoke with
deny that this car even exists in the US!

It's a new 2000 A6 Quattro sedan

(nothing special so far)

... with a 5-speed manual tranny!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO AUTOMATIC! NO TIPTRONIC! A clutch and a stick shift and all!
I can shift whenever I want to now. Hey, I think I'll put it in 3rd!
No, maybe 4th! It's my choice, after all. :-)

The kicker to all this, is since the dealer was "stuck" with them,
I'm getting the car at a killer dear. It's about $60 over true
invoice according to Edmunds.

And now, the good part for everyone else out there. If you want
one, they still have one left! Email me and I'll tell you where
the dealer is.
