That reminds me of a time when I was training for my pilots licence
in Sanford Florida. European Airlines were always landing there instead of
Orlando to avoid paying the landing fees. The airports taxiways were small
and one of the 767 (Step down from the 747 double decker jumbo jet) taxied
slowly off one of the narrow taxi ways and sunk into some mud. The Airport
Operations staff had only two airfeild cars because it was a small airport
and each of them was owned by the employees themselves. So Jimbob whoever
jumped in his Bronco II with a length of rope and headed out to the site.
Of course all the students and instructors watched in amazement at the
apparent lack of common sense of this pour fellow tying the back of his
truck to this tire that was taller then he was, in order to try to pull this
aircraft out of the mud. Laugh and a half to watch it.
