Memorable Driving

OK, since a lot of people have piped up, so will I.
I have two stories.

1) Passing a Pontiac GrandAm at 75mph on a two lane county road, deer
walks up onto right shoulder. Both cars hit the brakes, at this point
basically side by side. As if in slow motion, I see the lead deer pause,
I take my foot off the brake, stomp down on gas. Road had partially
paved shoulder, moved over to the left as far as I could without hitting
the gravel, fly by lead deer standing in the middle of road. My step-son
probably saw the whites of the deer's eyes. It was that close. The
GrandAm wasn't so lucky, they took out the second deer.

2) Driving I94 westbound to the Twin Cities, some
tree-hugger-butch-lesbian type driving a Geo Metro passes me. Comment to
wife that she must have it floored. Later end up back in front of her in
left lane, here comes that damn Geo. Push the gas down a bit, up to
90mph, Geo fades behind. 10 minutes later she's back. Same thing, Geo
fades. Now approaching Minnesota/Wisconsin border, 3 lanes wide at this
point. Here comes the Geo. Drop down to 4th gear and match her speed in
adjacent lane. This woman was just livid, cussing up a storm and making
all sorts of gestures towards us. Drop the hammer and blow her away. We
were laughing all the way home. Couldn't figure out why she was so
pissed, at no point did I impede her progress, I just simply accelerated
enough to stay ahead of her. We still get a laugh out of that to this
day.

By the way, so far my top speed has been 120mph, only 10mph more to the
speed limiter.
