The 5 mm offset is unlikely to cause too many ill effects. I will reduce
the negative scrub radius (which turns the car into the side that is
being slowed. Helps stabilize the car in uneven traction situations, has
nothing to do with drivetrains). And the load on the bearings isn't
likely to significantly change either, although I really don't have a
clue as to where the outer bearing race is in relation to the rim
centerline, which is the biggest factor. As for longer wheel bolts,
unecessary, unless the rim thickness at the mounting flange is different.
Offset doesn't effect the mounting flange of the wheel, just where the
rim is in relation to the hub.
