1) Rear tires (due to greater rolling diameter) will try to overdrive the
fronts. That's not a great thing for the center diffy if its a T*rs*n,
but in and of itself, won't kill an open standard center diffy. However,
if you choose to lock that diffy......
2) The contact patch will likely be notably wider in the rear, though the
tires will also be taller, so more squirrly. If a corner is entered and
exited properly, slip angles will build up in the fronts faster than the
rears (which already happens badly enough), meaning the car will
understeer even worse than before.
