Another notch in the...hmm...bumper?

Not a great driving moment, but I did some some kid's Prelude back to where
it belonged this morning.

I followed some late 80s prelude along a road at about 6:30 this
morning...he was puttering all the way, very annoying, and very confusing
because he ahd teh rice special going: tinted windows, 5 spoke wheels and
god knows waht else on that car.

Then the single lane road split into two lanes at a stoplight. I rolld
alongside, not expecting a race, I always take the empty lane. Light turns
green, Prelude takes off...I'm sitting there thinking that maybe I should at
least make this a race. So I just give everything my car has...I end up
catching the guy and we are neck and neck for a little bit until I actually
pass him. Perhaps he wasn't pushing his car...although I have a feeling he
was, we were going pretty fast at that point. At the next intersection I got
the early jump on him and kept accelerating, he couldn't catch up to me, not
until I put my signal on and turned off the road.

I guess old Preludes aren't very fast cars...much like my Coupe. But I think
the kids who drive them think they are something special, when in fact, they
aren't.
