allroad quattro

Does anyone have any experience with the new allroad quattro?  Since
about 1986 I have relied on Quattro's for commuting between the San
Francisco Bay Area and the Lake Tahoe area.   A couple of years ago I
moved to the Lake Tahoe area on a full-time basis and decided to join
the crowd and bought a SUV (Mercedes M Class)  to gain some road
clearance to help motivate in the deep snow we occasionally get.  Like
most SUV owners, I do no off-road at all.  I  have been most
disappointed with the SUV experience, particularly the handling and poor
reliability so am thinking that the new allroad quattro may be a much
better answer.  I'm particularly interested in how it compares in the
snow to the previous Quattro's I've had (e.g. 86 CS5000, 91 200Q 20V, 94
S4).  Any comments will be appreciated.
