if you look inside one of those switches, you will see that one small
male tab ont he outside is a power feed from the battery circuit, and it
is connected by the switch to three outgoing small tabs. One for the
left running lights, one for the right side, and one for the interior
lights.
And if you take a look at your switch I think you are going to see a
fair amount of melting and other ugly stuff in that area.
When still wired stock, that little male input tab has to bear the full
brunt of the "flash to pass" feature (have I said this before?), and
takes a real beating.
You could take the remianing "solid" output (right side ckt, grey/red
wire) and use it to trigger a relay switching a nice power feed to all
three outputs, perhaps your switch will not need replacing then.
But, if most of the damage was done before your headlight relays were
installed, a new switch should survive a lot better, and they're only
about $30 I think.
Good luck!
