What I'm saying is that People bought them up from the stores by
putting deposits on 10 to 20 machines at a time and doubling the price of
them later in the classifieds.

It's a well known fact that minidisc technology was developed within
a year of the release of the first CD, but was with held from commercialism
because of the developmental cost of the CD not being paid off yet. Then 10
years later, they release the rights to other brands to make them and there
you go. It's called defered technology. As for PS2, they held out until
after the release of Dream cast before doubling it's supposed bit rate from
64 to 128, then waited almost a year then released it. Who knows their
reasons. You can't argue with history.
