Well other than a temporary fix... why would you want to do this? The
G-60's are a decent brake if a bit heavy.....

Subject: '84 to '86 5kT front caliper swap?
I was wondering today if it's possible to take calipers from an '84 5kT,
which are single piston Girlings, and put it on a '86 5ktq in the front.
The calipers on all '84-'85 5k's, even the 5ktq in '86 up to VIN:
44-G-073362 use the early design. After that the '86+ uses the later
Girlings which I think are dual pistons. If my aim is just replace a bad
set of dual pistons w/ new single's, will it work? Do they bolt right in?
Second, is there any advantage in anyone's eyes to doing this? Thanks much.
