More coolant talk, testing the water

    I did what I was advised to, check that water coming out the rear of the
pipe.  There is a lot, took about 10 minutes of holding a mayo jar to the
tail pipe to get a small sample.  I then threw it in the freezer and let it
sit for 20 minutes.  It froze, all of it, even the droplets on the side of
the jar.  So no coolant seems to be coming through the final box, but I am
going to place that jar underneath the car to get at the stuff that drips
from the downpipe cat junction.  That stuff looked green when I saw it in
the garage down in NY...
