Offset Questions...

Listers,
I'm running some 15" 5 spoke Ronal wheels on my 88 5K. The offset is ET37. I 
believe that the original wheels have an offset of ET45 and were 14". Will 
running wheels with the ET37 offset affect the handling at all? Will it 
shorten wheel bearing life, etc? Car seems to drive fine, yet likes to 
tramline every so often...tire setup is 195/65/15. Also I'm sure that there 
is some discrepancy of the speedometer due to the larger rims...right?
