NAC: Miata Torsen

Patrick Hi,

as far as I know and rounding some edges a Quaife is a non factory fitted
TorSen.

Their way of operation is similar but if you buy aftermarket you get a
Quaife.
If your car comes equipped with a torque biasing diff of this design and way
of operation it is called a TorSen.

Most probably this generalization is wrong and too broad but that is how I
got it up to now.

By the way I have fitted a Quaife in the rear diff of my Land Rover
Discovery 200Tdi and I am very happy with it and its manners on and off the
road.

Take care
Pantelis
