What's with the freak out?  You'd think there was something contagious
about the things.  it wasn't the mechanical device that caused the
controversy way back when, it was the way certain aspects of it were
being discussed ad nauseum with no resolution in sight.  On this list
torsen is almost more of a code word for a nasty flame war than a type
of differential.
