De-oxit..Caig

This is purely personal experience, but I bought the Caig "sampler pack"
and tried it on all kinds of components, including an Audi cluster or
two, and even a flaky WWII flashlight. Did nothing, absolutly nothing to
remedy any of the contact problems I was having.
A VERY generous V8Q lister sent me a bottle of Stabilant 22, and applying
it to the same problems, this stuff actually gave results, the annoying
pixel randomizing of the animated autocheck vanished and the display
returned to normal after one application of Stabilant 22 to the
instrument cluster. There was no difference after several applications
of the Caig Labs stuff (about 6-8 months before the Stabilant 22
application).
Again, this is just my personal experience, I had no luck with their
products.
